Why We Built This Site
Nebraska makes many court filings public, but the public path is layered. A sheriff list is not a warrant-only statewide search, and JUSTICE is a court-case system rather than a complete warrant repository. A person can check one source and miss a new entry, a District Court matter, or a restricted record. Washington County also has a courthouse at 1555 Colfax Street and a Justice Center at 444 South 16th Street, with different functions. The pages collect the local routing details while keeping the official court or sheriff as the final source.
What You Will Find Here
- Warrant lookups: how to use the warrant lookup, JUSTICE, the sheriff list, and the county clerks
- Outstanding warrants: how to read active warrant publication without treating it as a court certification
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which Washington County court controls recall
- Charge-based warrants: how arrest warrants are issued and served in Washington County
- Resolving a warrant: the steps to resolve a warrant, from talking to an attorney to posting bond and a motion to recall or quash
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to a Nebraska court, the Washington County Sheriff's Office, or a state agency. There are real limits to what it can do:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Only the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's warrant unit that holds it can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own prices and operate their own services. If a tool leads to a paid signup, the private site may receive a referral fee. It does not control the tool's results or pricing, and those results are not an official Washington County warrant check.
